Elizabeth Breen joined the KTIV team in January 2022 as a Producer.
Elizabeth has grown up with a passion for writing and storytelling, and she decided to apply for a career in broadcast journalism. She graduated from Bishop Heelan Catholic High School in May 2021 where she participated in activities such as the dance team, theatre, cheerleading, and choir. Currently, Elizabeth is enrolled at Western Iowa Tech Community College as a Broadcast Journalism major and is expected to graduate in May 2023.
Elizabeth is a Sioux City native. For her entire life, she has been inspired by the work done by her parents, both of whom work here at KTIV. Her father, Matt, is the Evening News Anchor/Senior Political Reporter, and her mother, Bridget, is the Vice President/General Manager. She has two brothers, RJ and Jason, and a "borador" (border collie/yellow labrador retriever mix) named Hadley. If she's not working, she loves to read, paint, watch movies, try new coffee shops, listen to music, and spend time with her family and friends.
